Support for the Boston Marathon tragedy

In show of support regarding the tragedy of the Boston Marathon, the Ottawa Physio Race asks that participants wear yellow and blue on race day, the colours of the Boston Marathon (free blue t shirts will be given to those that registered before March 30th).  We will also be taking a moment of silence during the awards ceremony.

Celebrating 25 years!

The Ottawa Physio Race is excited to celebrate its 25^th anniversary in 2013.  Registration is now open to walk, run, or stroll on Sunday, April 21^st, 2013 along the scenic Rideau Canal.

The Ottawa Physio Race is a non profit organization.  This year’s main recipient will be the Therapeutic Riding Association of Ottawa (TROtt), a registered charity which provides therapeutic horse riding for youth and adults with physical, developmental, and learning disabilities in the Ottawa area.

We will continue to support a scholarship created for a successful applicant to the University of Ottawa PhDin Health Sciences program to encourage research in our area, and also continue to help fund local physiotherapy education events in Ottawa.

We plan to celebrate our 25^th anniversary with a few special touches!  Join us on April 21^st, 2013 and see how our race has grown over the years!
